If there’s ever a public vote on the benefits of colon cleansing, the smart money will be on the side represented by Beyonce, Mae West, Jared Leto, Lana Turner, Gloria Swanson, and Jacqueline Susann, all publicly declared colon cleaners.  Not with the editors of the American Journal of Gastroenterology.

Since the ancient Greeks and Phonecians, there’s been a belief that disease-causing toxins seep out from the bowels.  Without regular cleansing, this theory holds the result is weight gain, infections, constipation, bloating, gas, allergies, parasites, irritable bowel system and potentially cancer.

Team Hollywood has an easily grasped analysis.  It’s based on the understanding that the average American lugs around between 5 and 20 pounds of fecal material coating the walls of his or her colon, much of it the residue of junk food, preservatives, sugars and food chain and environmental chemicals.

Because it’s been inculcated into us that these are not healthy, logic says it would be good to get rid of them.  By and large, that’s what’s been reported in the general media from Oprah to the tabloids to network TV news, and personified by the current members of Team Hollywood.

So with the potential benefits including better health, better looks, and better energy, it becomes more a question of how and when rather than whether or not.  For those who see no reason to wait, information about one of the easiest online-available trial offers is available at http://www.naturecleanseonline.com.

Great article, thank you. I am very interested in finding a diet that lowers my sugar intake. I currently have a sweet-tooth, and am finding it difficult to find meal plans, what to eat for snacks, etc. While diabetes is not something that runs in my family, I am still concerned and would like to be smart and take a proactive approach to my health.

I have tried a few colon cleansers but some work better than others. My only problem being gas. I guess my digestive system is a bit sensative so i’ve had to cut back on the recommended dosages. Before using any cleanser be sure to start slow and drink plenty of water.
