Robin Quivers talks about the detox diet known as
“21 Pounds in 21 Days: The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox” and how she went on the Master Cleanse after hearing Magician David Blaine rave about it on her show.
Robin credits the Master Cleanse for her 70 pound weight loss, and renewed health.

Stern sidekick takes up on-air detox diet
We expect Howard Stern and sidekick Robin Quivers to discuss body functions on their SIRIUS XM satellite radio show.
But expect to hear even more now that Quivers is undergoing a 21-day detox diet on-air with help from Roni DeLuz and James Hester. DeLuz, who wrote “21 Pounds in 21 Days: The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox,” is staying in Quivers’s apartment and keeping her strictly to juices, purees, and teas — nothing that requires chewing. “Howard keeps asking us questions about exactly what’s going to happen to Robin and what’s going to come out of her,” says Hester, who did the detox himself . “We’re here for the whole thing,” Hester promised. “She’s going to do this.”

A graduate of Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the Clayton School of Natural Healing, and the American Holistic College of Nutrition. She has also completed her doctorate. Roni is a registered nurse and colonic therapist who has been a healing professional for 20 years.
Dr. Roni’s experience includes five years at Yale New Haven Hospital in a special ward for rare syndromes and one and a half years as Director of Nursing at Regis Multi-Health Center. She is a member of the Coalition for Natural Health, the American Naturopathic Medical Association, and the International Association for Colon Therapy.
In 1980, Dr. Roni founded Singh Care Homes in California, a provider of long term care facilities for children and adults. She continues to act as its Executive Director, setting up special therapeutic programs for debilitated children and adults.
In 1997, Roni founded and opened the Martha’s Vineyard Holistic Retreat offering retreat packages for individuals and groups to experience a peaceful holistic environment that addresses body/mind programs and natural healing.
In 2007 she and co-author James Hester published “21 pounds in 21 days, The Martha’s Vineyard Diet Detox” which quickly hit #3 on the New York Times Best Seller List.
Dr. Roni travels across the country giving lectures on lifestyle changes and works closely with a Wellness Center in California. As she values all branches of health oriented sciences she readily refers to and works with other holistic services such as yoga, acupuncture, chiropractic, Reiki, massage, energy, and physical therapy.
